Welcome Families,
Each week, you can expect our
classroom Newsletter, The Palermo Post.
Students will keep the newest copy in their O.W.L. Binder, in the sheet
protector provided. I will inform you of
what is going on in the classroom, homework, and important dates. Please be sure to read carefully to stay
up-to-date.
O.W.L. stands for Organized
Weekly Learning. O.W.L. binders are a
great way for us to share information about what is happening at school and at
home. Things you will find in your child’s
O.W.L. binder:

Classroom Newsletter (The
Palermo Post),along with the current lunch menu in the sheet protector
·
Communication notebook:
Included for your convenience to ask questions, write notes about appointments
or other dismissal changes.
·
Green Newton folder: Homework
and other important papers will be found in this folder. Please check it daily and empty the “keep”
side to stay organized.
·
Student logins for computer programs
(coming soon!). You will be able to find
these in the back sleeve of the binder.
Please check your child’s
binder each night, and return to school every day. Also, please try to keep the binder and contents
safe from food, drinks, younger siblings and pets. To outlast the school year, please do not
allow your child to color or write in the binder.
